Atom Warriors 0 Langham "P" Vikings 4

The Warriors travelled to Langham on Friday night and returned home with a 4 - 0 loss. The game was close throughout, highlighted by very strong goaltending by the home club.     

Are the Initiaton Warriors Unstoppable?

It appears that we have some very good young hockey players in town.  The Warriors travelled to Aberdeen on Thursday night to defeat the home team 16 - 4.  Included in the many goalscorers were Michael Burechaillo, Noah Skoworodko, Logan Gareau, Shaun Thibault, and Drew Jacobson.  A great coaching move by Mike Burechaillo as he inserted Cameron Jacobson in goal at the end of the game to ensure the victory and thwart any comeback attempt by the home team.

Atom Warriors Fall to Hague 5 - 2

The Atom Warriors could not pull out the victory on Thursday night at the Wakaw Arena. The game was actually closer than the score indicated with both goaltenders, Jack Bellefontaine for the home team, playing very well.  This is the first of a busy stretch for the Warriors as they travel to Langham Friday night and are attending a Prince Albert tournament on the weekend.

Novice Warriors down Langham 6 - 2

The Novice Warriors defeated the Langham Vikings on Wednesday night at the Wakaw Arena. The offensive attack was lead by Seth Hadlow and Bradley Hilkewich who each recorded hat tricks.  The Warriors played very well and carried the play to the visiting team.  When the Warriors did let up, Penny Bellefontaine was there to shut the door on the opposing shooters.  

A Successfull Tournament for the Novice Warriors

The Novice Warriors won the C-side in the Melfort Tournament this weekend.  The Warriors won both games on Sunday.  Chipping in with important goals this weekend were Penny Bellefontaine, Julia Frie, and Scott Lai.  Alex Trumier turned in an all-star performance in goal for the Warriors in the C-Final game.

Initiation Warriors Win Again!

The IP Warriors won again in Rosthern on Friday night to improve their record to 4 wins and 1 loss.  The Warriors held on late to win the game 9 - 8.  Logan Gareau and Trey Parenteau led the way on the scoresheet, each with hat tricks, while Shawn Thibault was stellar between the pipes. 

Atom Warriors Have a Successful Trip to Beardy's

The Atom Warriors defeated the Beardy's Blackhawks last night.  Robert Dailey got a shutout in his first start in goal.  Kartter Gorieu began the scoring for the Warriors and Olivia Jacobson ended the scoring, with many goals in between.  The Warriors did a great job last night of passing the puck, nobody more than Tyler Skoworodko who ended the game with 3 assists.

Initiation Program Update

The Initiation Warriors are just starting their game portion as they were mostly practicing in 2011.  The Warriors won 10 - 6 in Hague on Monday night.  The goaltending was strong as they rotated several kids and Trey Parenteau had a successful season debut chipping in with a pair of goals.  Their record now stands at 3 - 1.  The Warriors next game is Friday night in Rosthern.
