Mar 7, 2012, 8:36 am

The 2nd annual Hockey Day in Wakaw was held on Sunday, March 4th, and was a very fun day for everyone.  The hockey teams welcomed Kinistino, Colonsay, and 2 Prince Albert teams to come play some exciting hockey.  The Warriors were victorious in all 4 meetings. Wakaw Minor Hockey would like to thank all the members of the community that came out to the pancake breakfast or just to take in some of the hockey action.  The support for Wakaw hockey is important for the kids.  A special thank you also to the Town of Wakaw, Bonnie Anderson of Bfit, Cops for Kids, L & P Seed Cleaning, and Dekalb for their donations during the day.
